of cottages made in the traditional style of Kerala using bamboos,
coconut leaves, and palm sticks as well as those made with bricks.
The cottages are designed for maximum comfort and are ideal place
for those who love a peaceful stay by the side of backwaters.
Cottages are airy, cool and well furnished. Palmy Lake resort also
provides well furnished rooms near the cottages for those who opt
still a cheaper but homely stay as paying guests. Only 2.5
Kilometers from Alleppey Bus Station and Boat Jetty. In
2006, Palmy Lake Resort added an annexe called "Palmy
Residency"
comprising of six double rooms near Ladder bridge (about 3
minutes walk from Bus Station and Boat Jetty ) in a quiet
residential area of Alappuzha town.

for relaxing, country boats for riding, fishing rods for fishing
etc.

How to Reach - Palmy
Lake Resort is situated very near to Alappuzha town. Palmy is
located at Nehru Trophy Boat Race Starting Point in Punnamada Lake.
This area is usually known as “Starting Point”. Bus services are
available every 30 minutes from the town. If one prefers to walk, it
would be a 20 minutes cool walk from Alapuzha town. Resort is
located 2.5 km away from Kerala State Road Transport Bus Station, 7
km away from Alappuzha Railway station and 2.5 km away from Kerala
State Water Transport Station (Boat Jetty). Palmy Residency is
located north of DTPC Foot Bridge (in a small lane). Please refer to
