Dinning In the Dining Room Executive Chef Jagatram and Indian Chef Dina provide an exquisite and versatile multi cuisine & local menu. Much of the fresh produce and salad comes straight from the farms. The exquisitely Banjar restaurant features hand painted Tiger paintings & old photographs of Shikar days. Outside is the walled Choupal (Meeting place) which offers an outdoor dining experience with a bon fire in winters. As The Krishna jungle resort aims to provide a highly personalized service, guests may choose to dine wherever they wish. The highly attentive Krishna staff does its utmost to meet guests every need and request. Accommodation Spacious twin bedded cosy and comfortable cottages in typical Indian Village Theme. All cottages have modern facilities including attach bath running hot-n-cold shower & an independent sit out. The 31 well appointed rooms or jungle village huts are newly renovated. The architectural style of the lodge is based on a typical Madhya Pradesh village theme. Suggested Itinerary - Day 01 Jabalpur/Nagpur - Kanha National parkMeals: Lunch & Dinner in Krishna Jungle Resort (KJR)Arrive at Krishna lodge by 12 noon. Check-in to your rooms, unpack your luggage and letthe feel of jungle enter you soul. Lunch would be served in the enclosed restaurant. Afterlunch just sit by the poolside, read a book from our library or just take a stroll around 8 acres of resort and feel the ambience. Evening Tea/Coffee Biscuits would be served in the ‘Aangan’, where you can share experiences of other guests who would have just returned from the Safari. Dinner in the Baradari Restaurant (Al-fresco Dining) around bonfire. Overnight stay in comfortable cottage at KJR Day 02 Kanha National ParkMeals: Breakfast at Kanha Museum, Lunch & Dinner in KJRToday you will get an early wake up call at about 0515 hrs. Tea/Coffee & Biscuits would be ready in the enclosed ‘Banjar’ Restaurant, get ready for Jeep safari through the stately dense Sal forest (Shorea Robusta) and the wildlife adventure of Kanha begins. You will be taken inthe core area for tiger tracking and wildlife viewing in customized 4WD safari vehicles. The duration of safari is about five hours accompanied by an experienced forest guide. Breakfast would be an adventurous affair today as it would be in the woods inside the core area of Kanha Tiger Reserve. You will be given an elephant ride, (subject to Tiger sighting) you return to lodge by 11 a.m. Have a bath, take a short nap. Lunch would be served at the pool lawns. The Evening Safariwould start by 1445 hrs and you would be returning at about 1800 hrs. Tea/Coffee Biscuits would be served in the ‘Aangan’. Wildlife Movie Show followed by Dinner. Day 03 Kanha National Park - Jabalpur/NagpurMeals: Breakfast in Lodge Today it’s a relax morning. Breakfast would be served in the restaurant, and then you depart. ...Room View...
