 Natutre Heritage Resort is at the heart of
Bandhavgarh, Bandhavgarh set amongst the Vindhya Hills of Madhya Pradesh
with an area of 437 sq. km Bandhavgarh was established in 1968, these,
rich forest served as the Shikharghar for the maharaja of Rewa.
Bandhavgarh has been the centre of human activity for over 2000 years.
The legendary epic Ramayana mentions Laxmana Brother of King Rama who
hold the title of "Lord of the Fort". This mighty fort has its cliffs
almost 1000 ft above the country side imposing status of lord Vishnu in
his different re-incarnations and a unique 35 foot reclining status
known as " Shesh Shaya" are also seen in the Park. Extensively rich in
its Flora and Fauna the moist deciduous Bandhavgarh forest is covered by
Sal trees, on the upper slopes it is replaced by mixed deciduous
forests. Towards its north there are large stretches of bamboo and open
grasslands.

expert who has more than ten years experience in tracking tigers will be

How To Reach Bandhavgarh :
By Air:
The most comfortable route to Bandhavgarh is by air to khajuraho (250
kms), from where it is a six hour drive, by air to Jabalpur Airport (200
kms).
By Rail:
The nearest railheads are Jabalpur(170 kms), katni(102 kms), and
Satna(112 kms) on the cenrtral railway and Umaria(30 kms) on the south
eastern railway.
By road:
state/ private transport buses ply between Katni and Umaria and Satna
and Rewa.

for both vegetarian & non vegetarian taste. Village poultry & vegetable
straight from neighboring farms add to your appetite.

When you come back from morning safari there is running hot/cold water
in the attached luxurious bathrooms. Breakfast is served in the
restaurant. Lunch can be enjoyed in the open chirping birds and bright
sunlight. Evenings are more relaxed with bonfire and discussions
followed by a lavish dinner.
We have a 24 hrs power backup with a stand by generator. Adapters are
provided in all the cottages for easy connectivity of your electrical
gadgets. Few more interesting things to do during the day, includes a
drive upto the ancient Bandhavgarh fort, a walk to the Baghel museum, a
guided walk into a typical Indian village "Tala", nature walks, trip to
Chenchpur waterfalls and a host of other activities like an in-house
library, some indoor games are also available to relax and unwind within
your comfortable resort. After the delicious lunch you again would like
to go back to the Jungle, to trace the Tiger or the beautiful birds of

Climate
October - February is cold. March - April is moderate. May - June is
warm.
Natural Khakhis, Grey and Green clothes recommended. Carry Camera,

Morning and evening jeep safaris in Bandhavgarh National Park are
escorted by our specialized naturalists for extensive wild life viewing.
Your day begins just before dawn with wake up call along with a cup of
tea/coffee at the designated time (i.e. if you are not already up by
some call from the inhabitants of the jungle). An open Gypsy awaits you
to take you even more closer to the nature and to see the majestic
tigers. We provide some fruits neatly packed and a bottle of mineral
water for you 4 hour safari in the jungle.
