Arshad Rashid, whose father was home minister in the Holkar State Government, spent his working life as a tea planter in South India, but grew up in Indore, imbibing the lore of this city, its history and culture, which he willingly shares with his guests. There is nothing like a personal anecdote to bring a city to life. His wife Bhanu's gracious presence enlivens the evenings. Their daughter, Anu Dubey, runs a nursery school, and her husband Ashish Dubey is a college physics professor. This family’s natural charm, humor and hospitality ensure that guests who stay with them enjoy an experience which no hotel can offer.
