The Tigerland resort in India came into being into in 1996 and was a simple Wild life Camp with six cottages at that time, opened to wild life lovers, Naturalist and people seeking the tranquil environment of a central Indian Jungle. That Tigerland resort in India has now grown into a fully contained Tiger Resort with 23 Rooms and Cottages, a Multi cuisine Restaurant, cosy Swimming Pool, with all the other services necessary in a Jungle setting, such as

The property lies just off the Main Road, a few minutes short of the Main Gate of the Reserve, and is well tucked away by the surrounding Kanha Forest. Our Tigerland resort’s peaceful environs will allow you to view the occasional visit of the Jungle inhabitants, and it is not unusual to spot a Leopard slinking by.

The Promoter Sunny Chadha has been visiting the forest of Kanha ever since its establishment as a major Tiger Reserve in 1973, and now spends most of his time in the area.

How To Get To The Tigerland Resort (Kanha / Madhyapradesh)

Kanha Tiger Reserve/ Kanha national park falls in the approximate center of India & can be accessed by Road from the three Cities of Central India:

  1. Jabalpur : closest Railhead and Airport. All major Trains touch this city
  2. Nagpur : About 290 km from Kanha, is also a major Railhead and Airport
  3. Raipur : 245 km from Kanha, major Railhead and Airport

Rooms & Cottages :

Comfortably sized Room done in pleasing colors, with large windows giving an airy and fresh feel. Some Rooms have ceramic Tiled floors, while others are carpeted in the new washable variety,which does not retain Dust or Mustiness. Bath/Toilets are attached with running Hot/Cold water, with Showers. Bath-tubs are avoided in an effort to conserve water.

All Rooms offer a panoramic view of the surrounding Kanha Forest, from the large windows, and Verandahs

Facilities :

In the center of the Campus of our wildlife resort in India, lies the Public area. Our premium wildlife resort has a 60 Cover Restaurant that offers a great view of the Jungle, and serves Indian/Continental and occasionally Local Ethnic cuisine. In our state-of-the-art wildlife resort in India, we take special care to ensure the quality of our Food, and use only fresh organic products from the village nearby. The Lobby area in this wildlife resort provides a quite corner and a mini library offers many books/magazines to settle down with. The Open air Chaupal is the Focus point every evening after the Game Drives, where views are exchanged over a Campfire and Refreshments in the cool forest night.

Our Wildlife Resort Manager, Naturalists and friendly staff are always available. The Camp has it’s own Jeeps with experienced drivers for the Safari. Apart from the Game Drives and Elephant Safari, we arrange Riverside Picnics, Nature Treks for excellent Bird-life viewing in the area, local village visits etc.

The Travel Desk at our wildlife resort will help you with travel arrangements to and from anywhere in India such as Hotel Bookings, Surface Transport, Train as well as Flights.
