MTDC Holiday Resort located at Harihareshwar near Shrivardhan (Maharashtra, India) which is at 190 kms from Mumbai at about 5 hours drive from Mumbai and about 180 kms from Pune (5 hours).

Harihareshwar considered one of the holiest places in India. The town is surrounded by four hills named after Lord Harihareshwar, Harshinachal, Bramhadri and Pushpadri. The river Savitri enters the sea from the town of Harihareshwar. Towards the north is the temple of Harihareshwar, said to have been blessed by Lord Vishnu Hence Harihareshwar is often referred to as Devghar or house of God. 

Besides a major pilgrimage centre, Harihareshwar has  unspoiled and pristine beaches, one to the north and the other to the south of the temple.

  • Adventurers can take a small boat to the north side of the bay and explore a land where the Peshwas or prime ministers of the Maratha kingdom, originally resided.

  • The Peshwa Smarak is also a place of interest.

  • Shriwardhan the town of Harihareshwar is known for its tranquil and picturesque beach.

  • Also one can visit the famous Temple of Harihareshwar.

  • Nearest railhead is Mangaon - 65 kms.on Konkan Rly.

By Road - Mumbai-Harihareshwar - 190 kms. via Panvel-Mangaon on Mumbai-Goa Highway. Shriwardhan-Harihareshwar - 20 kms. 

Buses are available to reach Harihareshwrar and Shrivardhan from Mumbai and Pune.

Shrivardhan / Harihareshwar is an idyllic weekend getaway Ex-Mumbai / Ex-Pune and is visited all through the year. .
