Prakruti Resorts is situated near Kashid, a
sea-village in Raigarh District. The place is around 135 kilometers away
from the city of Mumbai (Bombay). It is a three hour drive from the city
and all along the way one encounters scenic panoramas that make the

The Phansad Forest sanctuary presents itself to the newcomer to Kashid.
The dense, lush green jungles surround the resort area and the golden
sands of Kashid beach is a five minute walk from here. All around one can
see the rich flora of the region.
The weather is typically tropical, with warm summers and cool winters. It
is quite breezy with the sea nearby.
To get here, there are regular State Transport buses that ply from Mumbai.
Vehicle owners can drive down from Mumbai via Alibaug. There are also
catamaran services from Mumbai.
The resort is situated on the foothills of the Phansad sanctuary and the
resort stretches over an extant of 20 acres along the slopes. The higher
the rooms the better the view.
Ways of getting here :
Air: The nearest airport is
Mumbai.
Rail: Nearest railroad is Roha, 122 km on the train Konkan Kanya, on the
central route leaving Mumbai at 22.30 pm.
Sea Route: There are regular ferry services available from Ferry Wharf
upto Rewas (23 km) starting at 6 in the morning through 6 pm. The service
is suspended during the monsoons.
Accommodation :
Your first impression of Prakruti is one of enchantment. All along the
slopes of the hills you find cozy little bungalows dotting the landscape.
The slopes have been divided into horizontal levels. The higher you go the
better the sea view. With exquisite landscaping, each level is unique. The
lower levels are closer to the lobby and the restaurant
The interiors are well-decorated, clean and spacious. You have a choice
between single bedroom units, two bedrooms, three bedrooms and four
bedrooms. There are also exclusive three and four bedroom bungalows which
are self-contained independent units with all the amenities a household
would be proud to possess.
Each bungalow has its own porch for those lovely evenings to while away
your time long till the negritude of night transforms dusk. Expansive,
well maintained lawns in front of the bungalows provide you with space for
