M/s Shilpa Caterers Pvt. Ltd.(SCPL) a corporate entity was incorporated in 1993.

SCPL has been in the catering field for the last 16 years and have catered to top corporate houses like German Remedies, Park Davies, Herdillia Chemicals, Ciba Speciality Chemicals India Ltd., Pantaloon Retail India Ltd., Novartis . Presently are associated and are catering to companies i.e. Johnson and Johnson, SI Group India Ltd., Godfrey Phillips and Zydus Nycommed , Lambada Healthcare, UTI Technologies Services , Police Headquaters at Thane, Private clubs etc.

The first business venture for the family was a multi cuisine restaurant under the name of Satkar Restaurant at L.B.S Marg, Thane. It was built in 1976 .Over the years Satkar has a built a sterling reputation as a top grade restaurant serving different cuisines at affordable prices in the city of Thane.

In view of the growing demand by customers and changes in the culinary trends, SCPL opened two new restaurants named Sanman at Kapur Bawdi, Thane and another one named Aditya at L.B.S Marg, Bhandup specially serving vegetarian delights. These are pure vegetarian restaurants specializing from snacks, fast food options to complete dinner meals.

With the support of loyal customers and their forte to cater to corporates SCPL took a step forward and opened a new business luxurious hotel named Satkar Residency. It has 65 elegantly designed rooms with centralized air conditioning, Eight banqueting suites and a lawn to accommodate any event from 25 people to a special celebration of upto 1000. The Hotel is located in the heart of Thane, off the Eastern Express Highway, next to Cadbury’s company.
