Speedboat
The rush of the Anantara Experience in the Maldives
begins just shortly after arrival! Our speedboat captain will meet
you upon arrival at Malé International Airport and guide you to
your luxuriously equipped water taxi. Then begins the scenic ride
across the sparkling emerald waters to Anantara's private
islands. The resort is located 21 kilometres from Male
International Airport, just a 35 minute speedboat journey away.
Transfer from the airport to the hotel is US$ 165.00 per adult

on Dhigu Island, Terrazzo specialises in Italian cuisine,
fashioned by chefs who are experts with traditional ingredients

Diving

dive safari guided by the experts from Anantara's own PADI 5* Dive
Centre. If you're a first-timer, get your feet wet first with one of
our PADI certification courses that will guide you toward taking
your first breaths underwater, opening up a whole new world for your
discovery. Or, simply snorkel leisurely on the edge of the lagoon or
peruse the Maldives' fabled coral gardens on our daily guided
snorkelling trips.
The Anantara Dive Centre offers two boat dives a day
to over 20 nearby reefs teeming with undersea life in the area
immediately surrounding our islands. In addition, the Centre runs
full and half-day "safari dives" to reefs and sites further
offshore.
With such a variety of sites on offer, and our full
range of PADI certification courses, our guests are spoiled with
choice to meet the needs of all diving levels - from beginners to
avid divers with full logbooks! Anantara's instructors always
endeavour to match up diving ability to local dive conditions to
ensure your safety and enjoyment. From our beginner's discovery
courses to more advanced Nitrox, deep water and rescue dives, the
Centre has a range of programmes to suit even the most experienced
divers.
All courses are taught by PADI-certified
instructors, ensuring an unforgettable - and safe - learning
experience in one of the world's premier diving destinations. Our
class sizes are limited to cater for each guest's needs. Our
friendly and professional staff, along with the excellent
facilities and open-air classroom of our Indian Ocean paradise,
provide the perfect surroundings to explore safely and
comfortably.
Orientation Dives
All divers at the Anantara Dive Centre require an
orientation dive, unless you have logged a dive within the last
three months in Maldives. The orientation dive consists of a dive
on our nearby house reef or another local dive site, with an
instructor who will get you to demonstrate basic diving skills.
After completion, you're ready to move on to more advanced dives
or courses, depending on your level and certifications.
Full and Half-Day Diving
Safaris
Once you've explored some of our beautiful and
action-packed local dive sites, taking in stunning sea fans,
colourful coral, schools of fusiliers, sea turtles, and even the
occasional reef shark or spotted eagle rays, it's time to take to
the high seas for a full or half-day diving safari! The Dive
Centre offers regularly scheduled diving safaris by speedboat to a
number of exciting locations in North or South Malé Atoll or
Felidhu Atoll. Or, feel free to talk to our guides and instructors
about setting up a privately chartered excursion just for you!
Kids Club
Fringed on all sides by powder-white sands,
surrounded by the warm, shallow waters of our lagoon, Anantara Dhigu
is not only a paradise for adults - it is also brimming with fun for
the whole family as well! While you explore the reefs on your own
through a scuba expedition or spend the afternoon being pampered in
our Anantara Spa, our Dhoni KIDZ Club means that you won't have to
worry about keeping the kids entertained during your stay on
Anantara Dhigu!
We invite all children to join us in our Dhoni KIDZ
Club, where we offer kids the chance to explore the island (and meet
some of its friendly wildlife inhabitants!), meet other kids, engage
in fun arts and crafts activities, play a variety of their favourite
indoor and outdoor sports and games and even introduce them to new
ones inspired by local culture as well!

Age Requirements
All children aged 3 to 11 years are welcome to join
us and enjoy the activities we organize on a daily basis, as well
as special events and activities that change with the seasons.
These activities are designed to be appropriate for all children
in this age group. Parents of children younger than 3 years of age
are welcome to participate in these activities together, or you
may pre-book a babysitter to help the child with these activities.

Babysitting Policy
At Anantara Dhigu, we have caring staff on hand to
make sure that your child's needs will be taken care of and that
their safety is our utmost priority. All babysitting requirements
should be booked 24 hours in advance. Our rates are $15/hour for
babysitting until 10 pm, $20/hour from 10 pm-12 pm and $25/hour
from midnight onwards.

Parental Consent
Parents who wish to have their kid/s join the Dhoni KIDZ Club
should complete all the necessary information found on our
registration card, especially regarding any ailments, allergies or
other health conditions of which we should be aware. This is to
ensure that we are able to provide the utmost in care and
attention for your child. Please note, however, that we are not
allowed to administer any kind of medication and/or medical
procedures unless deemed necessary.

Health and Safety
Children who are not feeling well should not attend Dhoni KIDZ
Club scheduled activities for the safety of the other kids. If a
child becomes ill while attending our programmes, we will contact
the parents immediately to see that they are taken care of.
