Local Areas - Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa is situated on its own island—one of 250 inhabited isles among the over 1,100 comprising Maldives—and is surrounded by tropical waters and its own lagoon. We are conveniently located just 15 minutes by speedboat from Malé International Airport—so guests will not be inconvenienced with overnight stays in Malé or long waits for seaplane transfers. The capital of Maldives, Malé, is approximately 25 minutes away. Ferries to Malé stop at the resort four times weekly and shuttle guests to shopping and restaurants. Our central location is ideal for island-hopping, and there are over 35 neighborhood dive sites within 45 minutes of the resort. Other local features and activities include:
Accommodation - Beach Front Deluxe Room - Our 44 BeachFront Deluxe Rooms are spacious sanctuaries nestled between the palm trees. Offering the option of ground or first floor rooms, each block of four rooms features a thatched roof, and all rooms boast a large balcony or terrace with stylish, cushioned outdoor furniture. BeachFront Deluxe rooms are located near the beach with a choice of garden and resort views or relaxing sea views. (52 square metres) Beach Front Cottages - Our stand-alone BeachFront Cottages are generously-sized retreats featuring thatched roofs, refreshing tile floors, and patios with comfortable outdoor furniture. BeachFront Cottages are scattered near the beach, some with garden/resort views and some with uninterrupted sea views and the ocean just steps away. (76 square metres) Water Bungalows - Privacy and romance are assured in our cozy bungalows with magnificent ocean views. Each stand-alone Bungalow is its own welcome respite with a thatched roof, sun terrace, and direct stair access to the clear, turquoise waters below.
