museum was established in 1895.
There are nearly 16,700 exhibits of
about 25 categories in the possession of the museum. They include
coins, sculptures, bronzes, palm-leaf, Folk Art, arms, ancient
pottery, marine specimens, geological specimens, paintings, bead work,
embroidery work, and archaeological antiquities.
