 The Valley
Guesthouse is situated under the eyes of Buddha just behind
the Boudhanath Stupa in the Buddhist part of Kathmandu (Boudha).
It is surrounded by many Monasteries and Gomba's which gives a
very unique and peaceful atmosphere.
With our Nepali
and Dutch hospitality we will offer you a special stay. Enjoy
the spectacular rooftop view, relax your mind in our quiet
garden, read a book in our rooftop reading room or just dream
away in the eyes of Buddha.....
We are happy to
welcome many guests from all over the world and share the warm
atmosphere of Boudha. With our Nepali/Dutch combination we
give you the warm Nepali hospitality with a Western look.

Terrace - Enjoy on
our rooftop terrace the spectacular views on the Boudhanath
Stupa on one side and the Hills of the Valley & the high
peaks of the Himalaya on the other side. It is
breathtaking...

Reading Room - On
the rooftop we created a Reading room with al lot of books
in all kinds of languages, magazines and newspapers. Feel
free to borrow the books during your stay at The Valley
Guesthouse or replace a finished book of your own. This
inspirational room with great views can also be used for
small meetings or teachings.

Small
Restaurant - In
our Lobby we have a small restaurant where we serve
breakfast, warm & cold drinks and snacks. Of course we also
serve in the garden or on the rooftop.

Wireless
Internet, Internet cafe & Phone -
Wireless internet is
available for a reasonable price per day, week or month. If
you didn't bring your own laptop you can use one of our
computers in our small internet café in the Lobby. Also
available local and international phone calls.

Laundry Service -
For your laundry we have a laundry service, within a day
your cloths will be clean again.

Taxi/Car Service -
If you need a Taxi or you
want to rent a car let us know at our reception or by E-mail
in advance. We make the arrangements for you! If you want us
to pick you up from the Airport please let us know 5 days
before you arrive. Airport Pick up costs are 600 rp. per 2
persons.

Trekking -
For trekking in
the Himalaya, trips to Chitwan or other national parks,
Tibet, Pokhara, Lumbini etc we are happy to advice and
organize it for you.
Accommodation
We have a total of 27 rooms,
which are divided in Single rooms, Double rooms, Suites/Family
rooms and Apartments. All rooms have attached bathrooms with
showers and in winter time heaters are available. For all
rooms, except the Apartments, we provide breakfast between 7
am - 10 am in our restaurant down or on the Rooftop up!

Single & Double Room - The Single
and Double rooms have 1 double or 2 single beds

Suite & Family
Room - There are 8 Suites/Family
rooms with AC. These are very spacious and light rooms with
2 queen-size beds. Also very suitable for families. 4
Suites/Family rooms have balconies and the 2 highest suites
have a balcony and great Stupa Views!

Apartment -
If you are planning to stay for a longer
period of time or you prefer your own kitchen, we have 3
regular Apartments and one big Apartment. All Apartments
have a bedroom with attached bathroom and a kitchen. For the
kitchen we can provide you some kitchenware. We have special
prices for those who like to stay for a long period of time,
please ask at the reception or sent us an E-mail for
inquiries.
