Location

Nizamuddin East is a quiet and upscale residential colony in New Delhi, India. It is located off of Mathura Road and sits across from the protected Heritage site and one of Delhi's most famous monuments, Humayun's Tomb as well as Nila Gumbad.  Both monuments are lit at night and create a haunting and romantic setting. 

 In the small market place within the colony you can find most anything you need.  There is a beauty salon, chemists,  small grocers, an internet and telephone facility, a dry cleaner, a tailor, a few dhabas (eateries), and a few small temples.
This colony is full of interesting residents from the famous BBC journalist Mark Tully and his wife, to the Chief Minister of Delhi, Sheila Dikshit. The neighborhood is popular among expatriots, journalists, architects and intellectuals.

Facilities

• Terrace : Take advantage of the views of the monuments at night on the roof terrace which is available to all guests.  The Tomb is lit every night from 7-10pm.  Should you chose to dine on the terrace, please consult one of the staff members so that they can prepare an atmosphere you will never forget.
• Kitchen ; If you feel that you would like to prepare your own meal our kitchens are available for your use and are fully furnished and equipped.
• Meals may also be ordered from the menu in the room. 
• Laundry Service and pricing available in the rooms.
• Linens : All rooms are furnished with luxurious 100% white down comforters for winter. Our bedspreads range from 100% Indian Khadi cotton to unique ethnic designs from all over India. 
• Rooms are uniquely decorated with interesting art and antiques from India and surrounding countries.
• Library : We have an eclectic selection of books for you to borrow and enjoy during your stay.
