Locations & How To Reach
Situated towards the East of
Shimla-in front of the High-Court of Himachal Pradesh, approximately 21
kms from the Airport and less than 1 km from the Railway Station.
Since the hotel falls under
the pedestrian zone, the vehicle can be driven only up to the High
Court. The hotel has blocked 12 parking slots at the High Court for the
convenience of our guests and is available on a first come first serve
basis at a nominal charge of Rs. 150 per night. Local porters can be
hired to carry the luggage to the Hotel, which is located a short walk
away from the parking area.
Daily direct flights to Shimla from Delhi are available. The flying
time is 45 minutes. The Shimla airport is 90 minutes from the hotel.
By Road -
Shimla is connected by road from Chandigarh (124 Kms), from Kalka (110
Kms) and from Delhi (385 Kms). The drive from Delhi to Shimla takes
approximately 8 hours and from Chandigarh to Shimla, approximately 3
hours.
By Rail -
Fast trains run daily from Delhi to Chandigarh and Kalka. From Kalka,
train connections on a quaint narrow gauge railway, built in 1903, are
available upto Shimla. The travel time is approximately 4 hours. There
are number of trains to Chandigarh and Kalka.
