Built in similar splendour reminds you of an era gone by. Launched as a hotel in the year 1900, the intricate stone facade, louvered balconies, elaborate window arcs and the wrought iron grills have not only preserved the pristine glory in its true form even today go with any Luxury Resort. There are large well appointed rooms with attached baths which are furnished with taste and which offer a fairy tale view of the snow capped Himalayas.

The renovated Ranikhet club has been thrown open to its members since the 01st January 2000. It was formally inaugrated on the 31st December by its then President, Brigadier Rajeshwar Singh, VSM.

The club has been very distinctively refurnished to maintain and preserve the old world charm to which this structure so elegantly belonged. The appended photographs will enhance the graphic details of the labor put in to restore the facade of this magnificent structure.

Besides the glorification of this structure, there have been the following important additions.

Accommodation:

SHUFFLES (the cards room):Five hexagonal card tables with green felt tops have been added for the ease of play for our distinguished members with a literary red carpet welcome!! The large french bay windows overlook the front lawns.

THE BILLIARD ROOM:This room has a modern look with the refurbishing of the grand old table. It would be a pleasure to try out your skills in this unbeatable combination!!

THE TENNIS COURT:Located in the backyard of the building, the hard ground court invites you to prove your stamina and skills amidst the pine and deodar trees.

THE SEVEN PEAKS (THE BAR):The bar has been related keeping in mind the distinguished profile of our members. The distinctive colonial look has been strengthened by teak paneling, exquisite fireplaces, stained glass lights on the ceiling and a black granite top bar counter top bar counter. Seated in this magnificent room, downing your spirits, you can view seven Peaks of the Himalayas!!

THE QUEENS COURT (DINING HALL):This room has been lit up by grand chandeliers to enhance the multicolored furnishing that go along with the decor of wooden floors and teak paneling. Most definitely a place to dine royally in the warmth of its fireplaces!! The club shall be serving Indian, Chinese and Continental Cuisine. Hosting a banquet thus will be an experience either in the room or in the open !!
