Guests relieve the feeling of SHEER LUXURY IN THE MERCILESS THAR DESERT. These AC tents have been designed for 5 star luxury comforts. The tents are comfortable and spacious. Rooms are carpeted and tastefully furnished demonstrating many of the skills, and designs of the local handicrafts combined with the best and most modern amenities. All the tents have attached toilets with running water and hand showers. Running water is provided not only at base camp, but also on the mobile camps while on a camel safari, enabling the guests to have a good shower after a dusty safari.

Camel Safari Itinerary's

I. 1 Night / 2 Days (Osian - Khetasar - Osian)

Day -1:

Guests are received at the Camp Thar reception at Osian, and transferred to the Base Camp by the rugged 4 wheel drive camp jeeps. After lunch guests depart for safari into the desert. Enroute one gets to see wild life like the Blue Bull, Chinkra, Desert Fox, Partridge, and a wide variety of other birds. Tea/Coffee is served at a small oasis near Khetasar. Guests are then taken on the camp jeeps on a tour of the village. Here they get to see the village life, and potters and weavers at work. Guests arrive back to the base camp in time to view the sunset over the desert. Later in the evening the guests are invited by the Camp Boss to an evening of folk entertainment followed by dinner. Overnight at the Base Camp.

Day -2:
After breakfast guests are transferred to Osian. They may take a tour of the temples and proceed to onward destination.

II. 2 Night / 3 Days (Bhikamkor - Dabri - Khetasar - Osian)

Day -1:
Guests are received at the Camp Thar reception at Bhikamkor with packed lunch. After lunch the safari commences. Arrive at the camp at Dabri Dunes in the evening. Dinner with camp fire and folk entertainment. Overnight at Dabri.

Day -2:
After breakfast mount camels to continue on second day's safari. For lunch, desert cuisine is served at a typical Bishnoi dhani. After lunch visit the desert village of Khetasar to see the potters and weavers. Evening arrive at the Base Camp. Dinner with camp fire and folk entertainment. Overnight at Base Camp.

Day -3:
After breakfast guests are transferred to Osian to proceed to onward destination after the temple tour.

III. 3 Night / 4 Days (Osian - Khetasar - Dabri - Nathrau)

Day -1:
Guests are received at the Camp Thar reception from where they are transferred to the Base Camp. Evening is free to explore or to do short camel rides to get accustomed to the camels. Over dinner your Camp Boss will give a briefing on the safari, and the do's and don'ts over the next three days. Over night at the Base Camp.

Day -2:
After breakfast, mount camels to commence safari to reach the dabri dunes. Enroute visit village Khetasar. Lunch is served by an Oasis. After an early dinner guests retire for the night. Overnight at the Dabri camp.

Day -3:
After breakfast commence safari to Nathrau. Enroute we stop for lunch served under canvas. Arrive Nathrau by early evening. After a good shower get set for a Gala Evening of dining and dancing - for this is the last night on the safari. Overnight Nathrau.

Day -4:
After a leisurely breakfast proceed to onward destination.
