Restaurant & Facilities

Sonar Killa Rooftop and Pool Side Restaurant

There are 2 restaurants at the Hotel Golden City.  The first of the restaurants is on the Roof Top with superb views of Jaisalmer City and the second, the more romantic by the side of the swimming pool.  Both dining areas serve a delicious variety of both Indian and Western cuisine made even better with the tandoori oven.

Sightseeing

There are many wonderful sights to see in and around Jaisalmer from the Sona Killa or Golden Fort, which stands majestic and proud - is thought to be the only lived in Fort in India to the beautifully carved Havelis (old buildings) to Gadasar Lake - where you can be rowed at your leisure to the Villages and Temples outside of Jaisalmer and of course the Dunes, where best to see the sunset. Accommodation

The rooms vary from ones overlooking the pool, to ones overlooking the city.  Most with air conditioning and tvs, all have attached shower rooms - some with a bath.  Most have their own private balcony
