Mirvana Nature Resort has been developed by Mr. B.S. Rathore. He has been in the hospitality industry for the past more than three decades and has served at various managerial positions starting of as a management trainee at Steibenberger (Germany) in the early 1970s to the C.E.O. of Whassan Hotels and Catering Services in Nigeria. He has also had the experience of working at places as culturally and linguistically diverse as India, Germany, Africa and the Middle East.

After about three decades of such diverse and rich experience in the hospitality industry, Mr. Rathore went ahead with his long cherished dream of developing a farmhouse along with an enthralling resort in its periphery. So as a result Mirvana Nature Resort has come up and it provides 15 Luxury Royal Shikar Tents, which have been specially designed so that the Guests can experience Rajasthani comfort and splendor amidst the harsh desert. All the tents have been crafted by hand using natural local material. The tents are raised on a marble platform, they have cooling and heating systems, running hot and cold water, state of the art attached bathrooms, and electricity.

Besides Mr. Rathore, there is an entire team of professionals lead by Ms. Dipti Rathore, who herself has an experience of working at hotels and restaurants in Australia and India for about 5 years. She along with other team members is engaged in providing the best possible services, so that each and every guest can experience a memorable and satisfying stay at the nature resort.

Mirvana Nature Resort is situated just 55 Km from the Golden City of Jaisalmer. In the heart of Thar Desert, Jaisalmer is a city of ancient palaces and temples. The lustrous glow on the sandstone buildings at the time of sunset has made it known by the name of Golden City. It was founded by Rawal Jaisal in 1156 A.D. and owing to its remote location has remained largely untouched by external influence, even in the days of the British Rule.

The desert fortress of Jailsalmer, known by the name Sonar Kila or the Golden Fortress, owing to golden reflection from its sun bathed sand stone, is truly a munificent site to watch.

Location

Mirvana Nature Resort is located in Sodakore, which happens to be 55 Km ahead of Pokhran and 55 Km before Jaisalmer, on the Jodhpur-Jaisalmer Highway. The resort is situated about 2 Km from the highway amidst the serene environment of R.G. Farms.

We offer village safaris where guests can interact with the vibrant village community and Camel safaris through the dunes with a picnic lunch. Moreover, being a nature resort, Mirvana offers Organic food, farm fresh dairy and poultry products. Guests can also enjoy medicinal herbs in our healing garden and take a walk around our signature Amla Orchid.

Besides Sodakore is a destination for several domestic bird species during the winter season. It is a classic habitat for the Great Indian Bustards, which are an endangered species. Some major fauna present are the Desert Fox, Desert Cat, antelope species, like the Chinkara and Blue Bull. We also offer a day tour to Jaisalmer with an experienced guide.
