The Greenhouse is a Luxurious Eco-Boutique
Resort in the heart of Rajasthan, Holy Pushkar City. The Resort is

A Tented resort of just 20 Luxurious tents, set in 10 acres of
landscaped gardens, Water bodies and a specially designed greenhouse
restaurant has a pictures queue view of hills. The Pushkar resorts

20 free-standing special tents are spaced at a comfortable distance from

We pride ourselves in providing luxurious
and authentic experiences to our guests in Pushkar resorts. The
Greenhouse Resort practices various Eco-friendly activities. For energy
conservation, solar water heating system, energy efficient lamps are
used which provide as much light as ordinary bulbs, yet consume
substantially less energy. Emphasis is laid on water conservation by the
practice of reducing water wastage; efficient practices such as
concealed cistern toilets, Towel & Sheets Re-use programs are used. Open
wells & Tube wells are used for water.
Natural materials such as Stones, Wood,
and Cotton fabric has been used in the making of the tents. We
predominantly employ locals, whom we train for each of the departments
and hence provide little help to the nearby villagers.

Green House of Dutch Roses -
There are Greenhouses in the resort in
which good quality Dutch Roses & Gerbera flowers are grown. Guests
interested in nature and floriculture can enjoy seeing them. These
flowers are grown all round the year. In Rajasthan the climatic
conditions are not suitable for floriculture as its dry climate but we
are successful in doing floriculture by installing Drip Irrigation,
Misters, Foggers and Roof Jets in the greenhouses along wit proper
attention and expert’s supervision.

Exotic Fruits ad Vegetables -
The Greenhouse resort has a
vegetable garden where exotic vegetables are grown seasonally. Along
with this the resort has a beautiful greenhouse of strawberries so
freshly grown Strawberries can be relished at the resort.

Pushkar Lake - The prime
attraction of Pushkar is the Pushkar Lake which is considered sacred
like the Mansarovar Lake in Tibet. Pushkar has become a place of Hindu
pilgrimage because of this holy lake. Legend has it that this lake was
consecrated to Lord Brahma, the creator of the universe when a lotus
dropped from his hand into the vale and a lake emerged in that place.
The picturesque lake is encircled by 500 temples, 52 palaces, and 52
ghats. Devotees take a religious dip in the spiritual water of the
lake which is said to have miraculous powers.

Brahma Temple -
The most important
temple in Pushkar is the
Temple of Lord Brahma, one of the holy trinity of Hinduism. In fact it
is the only Hindu shrine in the world where Lord Brahma is worshipped.
The temple enshrines a life-size idol of Lord Brahma.

Savitri Temple -
This temple that is located at the top
of the Ratnagiri Hill is dedicated to Savitri, the wife of Lord
Brahma. The temple houses a magnificent statue of Goddess Savitri.

Other Temples -
Other noteworthy temples of the pilgrim
place are the 19th century Mahadeva Temple that id dedicated to Lord
Shiva, Rangaji Temple that is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and the Varaha
Temple that is also dedicated to a deity who is one of the
incarnations of Vishnu. All these temples exhibit outstanding art and
craftsmanship.

is a shopper's delight. One can buy great souvenirs like silver

Pushkar Fair -
The Pushkar
Fair is the largest cattle fair in Asia and is held in the
month of November during the Kartik Purnima (day of full moon in the
Hindu lunar month of Kartik) when hundreds of thousands of pilgrims
take a holy dip in the sacred Pushkar Lake. This spectacular event is
worth witnessing when the cold November nights are lit up by the lurid
campfires and the folk dance and music performances cast a magical
spell!
