Aranmula is 16 Km from Pathanmithitta on
the banks of river Pampa. BY ROAD:: There are buses from all the
main towns in Kerala to Chengannur approximately every half hour. BY
TRAIN AND AIR:: The nearest railhead to Aranmula is Chengannur, 9 km
away. There is an auto rickshaw stand and a taxi stand outside the
railway station. Buses are available every ten minutes as well. The
nearest airports are at Thiruvananthapuram (130 km) and Kochi (135 km).
Both airports have prepaid taxi counters in the arrival area itself.
