Jungle Resort is a complete eco-friendly resort located right next to
the beautiful Beach No. 7 (Radhanagar Beach) - the most beautiful &
popular beach in Havelock Island (Andaman Islands). (TIME
Magazine acclaimed as the best beach in Asia in Nov 2004).
Barefoot at Havelock,
the Andaman Islands only eco-hideaway set in rainforest and tropical
fruit trees behind a pristine 2 km white-sand stretch of the quirkily
named Beach No. 7 at Havelock Island.
It offers 18 cottages for accommodation
with facilities like attached bath with 24 hrs H/C running water etc.

beautifully designed cottages that are hidden among 7 acres of
grounds, their hardwood walls and conical thatch roofs blending into
the tropical foliage. You get basic comforts (modern plumbing, air-con
or ceiling fans). The barefoot philosophy means a minimal footprint,
so only indigenous materials are used, rainwater is harvested, most
staff are local.

Some things to
prepare for before you arrive:

Nocturnal forest
sounds can be irritating, if you are a light sleeper and staying in
a Nicobari Cottage

On occasion, the
air-conditioning in the Andaman Villas can be erratic due to voltage
fluctuations, but any disruption will be commensurately compensated.

Due to Tropical
Climate, Activities cannot be pre-booked and are typically planned
only one day in advance.

Expect the
occasional shower even in the dry season; conversely, you could have
glorious sunshine during the wet season.
Andaman Islands, gives a clean
environment, greenery & unpolluted fresh air attract all nature
lovers, beach divers and scuba divers. Andaman Islands are visited as
a standalone destination for regular Tourists, Scuba Divers.
Andamans
are visited as ex-Chennai / Ex-Kolkata Getaways / Short-breaks and
visited all round the year (Peak Season being October to March)

CHILD & INFANT POLICY

Infants and children below the age of 5
years will be complimentary on the adult meal plan without any extra
mattress. If an extra mattress is required, then the above child rates
apply.

Children between 5 12 years will be
charged as per the child rates.

Children above 12 years or third adult
will be charged as per extra adult rates.
ROOM OCCUPANCY POLICY

USING GOVERNMENT FERRY SERVICE / CAR
- Port Blair Airport Barefoot at Havelock Port Blair Airport.
0600 hrs & 1400 hrs daily ferry departure from Port Blair to
Havelock./Join-in Government ferry service: INR 2,400 per person with
2 persons or more sharing. Single traveller INR 3,500 per
person./Transfers by MV Makruzz: INR 3,100 per person with 2 persons
or more sharing. Single traveller INR 4,000 per
person.(Govt ferry takes 2.5 hrs & MV Makruzz takes 1.5 hrs, sailing
is subject to weather conditions. When using Govt
ferry / MV Makruzz, a 1-night stay in Port Blair on your return from
Havelock is mandatory, as Havelock-Port
Blair ferries do not connect with departing flights on the same day)

PRIVATE BOAT CHARTER / CAR Direct same
day airport departure and arrival service. Flexible daylight
departures to Havelock. Duration 1 - 1 & 1/2 hrs hours. Maximum 8
persons. Service not operated between May
1st to September 30th each year. Full boat price: INR 35,000 one-way.
INR 70,000 round-trip.

All ferry and boat transfers subject to
weather conditions, sea conditions, sailing permits, Department of
Shipping schedules. Barefoot at Havelock is not liable for any loss
due to change in schedule or non availability of seats.

All road transfers will be by non-air
conditioned vehicles.
