An information software on CD ROM under the title "INDIAWIDE'. In it is packed a wealth of information about India that is invaluable as a Travel, Tour, Business and Holiday planner and shopping pleasure. The CD ROM has been developed by GOODVALUE SOFTWARES AND SYSTEMS LTD, Mumbai.

You can get information of all the 300 major cities and of about 1200 towns and other places of significance in India. It gives the location of each Place, its State, its nearest Railway Station, Airport and National Highway, a description of places of tourist interest, religious sites, industries, business opportunities, the population and other statistics, climate, range of temperature in different seasons, local handicrafts, languages and a lot more. It details all Hotels listed by the Indian Hotels Association (about 1600) along with the number of rooms, other facilities, addresses, telephone and fax numbers, type of cuisine, tariff - all you want to know. It also lists for major destinations status Restaurants and Travel Agents. The search mode enables you to locate your destination through many criteria like Zone, State, Population, Category, etc.

The "Transportation'' module provides you all vital information for Air, Rail and Road Travel like:

DOMESTIC AIR TRAVEL: On Selecting 'Form' and 'To' you get details of all flights available to your destination. You also get Telephone Numbers of the Carrier Airlines to facilitate contacting them in a hurry.

RAIL TRAVEL: Similarly, on selecting 'From' and 'To' you get details of all trains to your destination. When you demand information of any given train, you get its detailed route with distance, compete with fares by different classes.
