Birdy-House nestles in a tranquil village,
surrounded by mountains overlooking a majestic valley and is situated
about a 10 minutes walk from the Bhimtal lake. Constructed with locally
available stone and wood to give a simple rustic feel, this beautifully
designed cottage has tastefully done interiors and modern amenities.
Engulfed by beautiful winter sun and situated in simple and peaceful
surroundings, one has to get accustomed to the sound of birds creating
their morning ruckus on the roof. At the cottage we are frequented by
the Sunbird, the red billed Magpie, the Jungle Myna, the long tailed
Minivet and Himalayan Bulbul who are your constant companions or the
occasional visit of the pheasant fowl. And if you get lucky, you might
even see a fox or rabbits too and from a distance hear the sounds of the
barking deer!
Birdy-House is not a hotel or a
guest-house and nor is it a bed and breakfast setup. It's an ideal place
to come down for a weekend and just relax or just lounge around. Read
that book you have wanted to catch up on, fly a kite, cycle down to the
lake, go for long walks, catch a fish or just wade your hands in water
while enjoying a boat ride. We tempt you to de-stress and do nothing. We
urge you to unwind, recharge, rejuvenate, and let our highly trained
staff pamper you! Writers would love to come here for the peace and
quiet. Creative people can compose music, paint or sketch. Much more
than just a comfortable home-stay, Birdy-House could be best described
as your home away from home! Overall, an amazing place to spend a
weekend!
Accommodation offered is two bedrooms with
attached bathrooms, a living cum dining area, a TV Lounge area, garden
and parking. Highly trained housekeeper and cook are available to ensure
your comfort.
