Before 1947, a British lady Mrs Page ran a guesthouse of the same name, where the Hotel stands today, and since Independence, it has been owned and run by Shri S.L Sah's family. It was his will power and dynamism that metamorphosed a small guesthouse to the 60 rooms hotel.
